2018–2022
Tech Solutions Architect, Media Operations. Music licensing across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. 3-time Meta Hackathon winner (Quest, Messenger).
2014–2018
Director of Engineering. Rebuilt the royalty payment system end to end (3 months → 1 week, releasing tens of millions in back-pay to artists). Built part of the dev team that still serves SESAC, Rumblefish, and MLC today.
2013–2014
Music licensing tech under the SESAC/HFA umbrella. Tools for independent publishers.
Project work. Delivered. Moved on.
Active partnerships. Ongoing work.

PING is a $5B+ golf equipment brand with a reputation for engineering precision. Their bet with Ballnamic was unusual: build a brand-agnostic golf ball fitting platform from a company that doesn't even make balls. Powered by ball-flight simulation algorithms, robot testing on the Ping Man, and doppler radar across 40+ ball models from every major brand.
Me and my team at Bossa Nova built the system end to end. The fitting engine, the consumer-facing landing page at ballfitting.com, and the physical kiosk software now showing up in golf shops like Haggin Oaks. One platform, three surfaces. Ongoing partnership.

QWIRE is a music clearance and rights tracking platform for film and TV. The clearance workflow is famously fragmented across studios, publishers, and rights holders. QWIRE consolidates it.
Bossa Nova has been THE embedded team at QWIRE for many years. The kind of relationship where the work outlives the contract.

Whiskey Social is a whiskey discovery and community app built by two Tennessee enthusiasts who wanted a better way to share what they were drinking. Three pillars: collection, social, discovery. Plus venue partnerships, a 7,000+ bottle database, and an active community feed.
Bossa Nova handles maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing feature development. The app holds a 4.8 on the App Store and ships on both iOS and Android.

UVL is a transportation and logistics operator running on McLeod TMS. They came to Bossa Nova for a modern client-facing app and a clearer picture of their own API and backend infrastructure.
Bossa Nova shipped UVL's app and has continued mapping and documenting their API for future development cycles. Ongoing maintenance and partnership work as the platform scales.
Things I'm building under my own roof.
AR scavenger hunts for kids. Mobile, community-built. Made with my wife.
Golf improvement that survives contact with the actual course. Pre-round planning. Shot dispersion. Coach plans that adapt. Built for golfers who'd rather get better than feel better.
Carry each other's prayers. Community-driven. iOS and Android.
