Time to draw the line and take stock of 2012.
Corinthians won everything, EVERYTHING, and as I read today in a post by an Argentine friend, soccer isn’t only about whether my team won more than yours, it’s about the time I spend celebrating with my family, the gathering, the hugs, the shouting, the smile… soccer is indeed a passion, but it brings together friends and family, something that matters more than anything to me. (Ana, Joana, Tonny, Thiago, Carol)
At Lado Direito we faced difficulties, worked hard, but had just as much fun, and came out stronger and more excited for the next year. (Pedro)
At Foome we reached almost all our goals, and you know what that brought us? Another truckload of “impossible” goals for next year. (André, Daniel)
My experience as a Christian gained one more chapter in this long year, and the book “Why I don’t want to go to church anymore” marked this period strongly. It’s a great book and I recommend reading it. Observe everything, hold on to what is good. Ahhh, and the “blame” goes to the one who gave me the gift, right Heber, lol…
My wife and I moved. We live close to “everything” we use: market, bank, office. And honestly? Walking and biking is MUCH better than driving.
Well, 2013 is a year with maaaany challenges, and I mean MANY. My Facebook is well “curated” — I only keep here people I know and/or have worked with throughout my life… I wish you all a great night, party, family, samba, health, success, and lots of soccer… the rest, we’ll figure out.
Take a little time for God today. Listen to Him, plan the next year with Him, and may every day from tomorrow on be guided by Him, because I have experienced it: there is nothing better than being God’s friend.
