More than 2 years ago I wrote about all of this that is happening today.
The lack of respect is on both sides, except only one side has as a “commandment” to love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39) The lack of care is on both sides, but only one side had as its founder someone who preferred to die without defending himself rather than accept the help of a disciple’s sword. (John 18:10)
Do you want to know what it is to “offend” the son of God? It is to arrest him in the dead of night (Matthew 26:4), judge him (Matthew 27:11), beat and spit on him, and then nail him semi-naked to a cross until death. That is offense, yes. And do you know what his response was?
“Forgive them, they don’t know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34)
It scares me to see my Christian friends demanding a response and a union against all of this. This is anti-biblical, anti-Christian, anti-everything God taught us.
When everyone gathered to “justify the family” and arrest a prostitute who was sleeping with a married man, and do exactly as was written in the Bible of the time, Jesus changed the rules, and the story ends with a “Neither do I condemn you” (John 8:10,11).
Here’s a tip: leave your condemnation at home, in front of the mirror, and at the next gay parade, grab your dishes, go there, offer free food, “wash their feet” and stop fighting… sin is abounding (Romans 5:20,21), but love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8)

“We are feeding in ourselves this revanchism, this hatred, that brings nothing
to anyone. Evangelicals post, talk, share the ‘war against depraved
homosexuals,’ and on the other side we have those who fight strongly against

In the long run, all of this is VERY dangerous. We see small signs of a civil war, and all of this should be much more concerning than who I, you or our neighbor sleeps with.
We are all on the same ground. Most point to fences and walls… I choose THE way.”
