If you are discriminated against for being an alcoholic, I am an alcoholic with you; If you are discriminated against for being poor, I am poor with you; If you are discriminated against for being an atheist, I am an atheist with you; If you are discriminated against for being a Christian, I am a Christian with you; If you are discriminated against for being a foreigner, I am a foreigner with you; If you are discriminated against for being gay, I am gay with you; If you are discriminated against for being black, and called a monkey, I am a monkey and black with you; And I do this because of the Gospel, to also be a participant in it; because if I am discriminated against for being human and a sinner, my God becomes human and the greatest of sinners with me.
